Without him there were no rules

I didn’t know anyone like me

With a dad in a prison

I felt alone and weird

I wanted a friend and a mate

Instead I got sneers, I got hate

I hated going to school

It seemed pointless to me

I didn’t want to learn

My dad was in prison you see

I wanted to be like him

I thought he was cool

A rebel, a renegade

He followed no rules

I wanted to be like him
